# Cognitive Unit Testing

Cognitive Unit Testing treats governed behavior as software behavior. Suites can assert Evidence admission, Cognitive Contract resolution, cognition outputs, authority gates, Effect preconditions, Receipts, comparisons, and terminal propositions.

Use the `/v1/cognitive-tests` family to validate suites, execute them, inspect results, compare runs, and promote an approved baseline. Tests use the same public resource semantics as production execution rather than a separate prompt-regression convention.
